On or about September 6th work will begin on the rehabilitation of the Morgan Bridge. Work will be conducted from 7am-4:30pm weekdays. Some night work is also scheduled during weekdays and weekends between September 14-May 16 from 9pm-6am. While we will try to minimize inconvenience, motorists are encouraged to allow extra time for their commute.

We were happy to hear from Ted Sieminski today who forwarded a few pictures of his Dad for us to post on the site.
Cas Mahle-White joined the Sayreville Police Department after serving in the US Marine Corps and enjoyed a long career. He was a fixture “downtown” and lived just doors away from the original Police Headquarters in the basement of the Borough Hall. He was recognized in gardening circles for his ability to grow enormous tomatoes. In the later years of his career Cas earned both his Bachelors and Masters degrees and after his retirement continued to serve our community for many years as a permanent substitute teacher in the Sayreville Schools.
