Cas Mahle-White joined the Sayreville Police Department after serving in the US Marine Corps and enjoyed a long career. He was a fixture “downtown” and lived just doors away from the original Police Headquarters in the basement of the Borough Hall. He was recognized in gardening circles for his ability to grow enormous tomatoes. In the later years of his career Cas earned both his Bachelors and Masters degrees and after his retirement continued to serve our community for many years as a permanent substitute teacher in the Sayreville Schools.
Can you identify anyone in this photo. We know from our contributor that this Cub Scout Den was given a tour of our headquarters in 1971. If you can identify anyone in the photo please let us know.
