From time to time people find vintage pictures that they are kind enough to share with us. This rare find is from a swearing in ceremony for the Sayreville Police Explorers on March 11, 1975. Flanking the group are [l] retired Lieutenant Robert Dunworth and [r] retired Lieutenant Ed Boyler. While the gracious donor wishes to remain anonymous we can share the fact that three of the people in the photo went on to careers in law enforcement.

One June 15th students from the New Road School were treated to a guided tour of the Public Safety Complex conducted by DARE Officer Robert “Officer Bob” Horsch. The students enjoyed a behind the scenes glimpse of many areas including Communications, Municipal Court and the Jail.
