Warrant & Bail Information

Sometimes the Court finds it necessary to issue arrest warrants for a variety of reasons. If you are notified that there is a warrant for your arrest it is recommended that you take care of it as soon as possible.

If your warrant is for a minor offense you can pay the bail at the Violations window in the lobby of the Public Safety Complex when the court is open. Note: the Court does not process bail when Court is in session. When the Court is closed you can pay the bail at the police window in the lobby of the Public Safety Complex. However, it is recommended that you make every effort to dispose of the matter with court personnel.

If the warrant is for an indictable offense, shoplifting, any narcotics offense, or domestic violence you must undergo the booking process with the police before the warrant can be satisfied. Persons with warrants of this type should report directly to the police window in the Public Safety Complex.

The Sayreville Municipal Court accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. If you do not have sufficient funds to satisfy a bail amount you may utilize the services of a Bail Bonds Agent. The Sayreville Police Department and the Sayreville Municipal Court do not endorse any particular bail agency.
