Communications and 911
Our Communications center is staffed around the clock by state certified personnel. All emergency calls and radio communications are managed by these dedicated men and women. They are all certified in Emergency Medical Dispatching and are required to monitor all phone, radio, and computer communications coming in to or going out of the Public Safety complex. In addition to handling police emergency communications they provide the same service for Fire and Emergency Medical Services agencies in our community. They also handle and route all routing requests for information or other Borough Services so that they are addressed by the proper department.
